Appointed 3 October 2023 Eric brings to the role more than 30 years’ experience across all elements of the Oil & Gas supply chain and has successfully led teams of many different sizes and compositions in a variety of settings. Having spent the last seven years as Head of Operations at SEA Gas, he comes with a ready understanding of the transmission pipeline business and is well placed to lead the enterprise through the challenges of the coming years.

Mark Twells

Chief Financial Officer / Company Secretary

Mark is responsible for the financial, corporate and treasury functions of SEA Gas, including financial reporting, taxation and capital structure management. Mark joined SEA Gas in 2023 and has over 15 years’ experience in senior finance roles in the infrastructure sector, including the last 10 years with energy infrastructure businesses. Mark is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, holds a Masters of Applied Finance and is a Graduate of the Institute of Company Directors.

Paul Frederick

Head of Commercial

Paul is responsible for the commercial and business development functions of SEA Gas including marketing and the development and integration of new business opportunities. Paul joined SEA Gas in October 2015 with 25 years’ experience in the energy industry as a senior executive encompassing operational and project management, strategy development and commercial transactions.

Liz Brierley

Head of Asset Management

Liz is responsible for the engineering and project delivery aspects of SEA Gas. The function has responsibility for asset management services, SCADA and information technology, technical regulation and asset integrity and protection of all SEA Gas pipelines and associated assets. Liz joined SEA Gas in October 2010 and has over 15 years’ experience working on natural gas pipelines and networks. Liz represents the Australian Pipeline and Gas Association (APGA) on the Australian Standards Committee for Pipelines and has been a member of the APGA Pipeline Operators Group for 10 years.

Michael Little

Head of Operations

Michael is responsible for the safe and reliable operational performance of the SEA Gas assets and leads the pipeline system control, field operations & maintenance, contract management, and landholder liaison functions. Michael joined SEA Gas in January 2024 after 20 years’ experience in engineering, operations, and reliability across the mining and oil and gas sectors, including over 10 years’ experience in management roles.

Chris Komninos

Head of Development Projects

Chris is responsible for defining and executing development projects that drive SEA Gas’s growth and enhance its value. Since joining SEA Gas in 2016, he has leveraged over 30 years of experience in operational and project leadership within the oil, gas, energy, and heavy engineering sectors. His extensive background spans various commercial, engineering, and management roles, equipping him to navigate a wide array of industry challenges.
