  • Supply Curtailment Methodology

    This supplier curtailment methodology is published for the purposes of Rule 101B (2)(f) of the National Gas Rules.

    SEA Gas may curtail services including, without limitation, to:

    • preserve the operational integrity of the pipeline system;
    • avoid a material threat to safety;
    • respond to an emergency condition;
    • carry out maintenance;
    • deal with an act or omission of a shipper in breach of its transportation agreement; or
    • manage a Force Majeure event.

    In each case, SEA Gas will seek to address the situation based on the best information available to it at the time and use reasonable endeavours not to curtail Firm Services to an extent that is greater than necessary.
